I have a degree in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Throughout my career, I have primarily worked as a construction architect-project manager, collaborating with large construction companies on significant public building projects in Athens.
One of my most significant accomplishments was leading the construction team, as the head construction person, for the challenging “Restoration and Expansion of the National Theatre of Greece”. I take immense pride in successfully completing this demanding project.
Despite my busy schedule, I have always managed to find time to embark on adventures to remote and often perilous locations. These journeys have allowed me to explore and experience different cultures, traditions, and abused natural landscapes. By immersing myself in these environments, I have gained a deeper understanding of human nature and the of world we inhabit.
Over the past decade, I have also pursued my passion for photography. My motivation stems from my wish to capture the beauty of the world, but more importantly, to encapsulate the moments and emotions evoked through encounters with diverse cultures and people during my extensive travels, and the understanding of human nature. Photography, for me, represents a continuous quest for light, color, and the perfect moment. Above all, it serves as a medium for building trust and establishing connections with the individuals I meet along the way.
That is why the main area of my photography work for which I have a real passion is Travel Photography and especially Street Photography and Street Portraits.
To enhance my skills, I have attended various Photography seminars since 2013. In 2018, I successfully I was admitted, after exams, to the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts at the School of Applied Arts and Culture of the University of Western Attica (PADA). I graduated in 2022, equipped with a comprehensive understanding of this art form.
My work has gained recognition in numerous international competitions, earning distinctions and honors. Additionally, my photographs have been showcased in various group Photography Exhibitions and Festivals in Greece and in Italy, further validating my dedication and passion for this form of art..
